Royal Birmingham Conservatoire Theatre School presents: Don Juan in Chicago
Directed by John Adams
by David Ives
6 – 9 Jun in the Studio
This production contains adult themes.
Weaving together the story of womaniser Don Juan and the Faust legend, David Ives has constructed this time-travelling comedy. Having planned to spend eternity in scholarly contemplation, Juan finds his time consumed with a relentless search for sexual partners, in which he is abetted by long-suffering valet, Leporello – until finally, as a tiresome fixture on the singles scene in Chicago, he realises sadly, “I have spent my life checking my watch and taking off my clothes.”
