Natalya Petrovna and her young ward, Vera, both fall hopelessly in love with Alksey, the young tutor of Natalya’s son, Kolya. But Natalya has a jealous husband and Vera has an admirer of her own. Soon what start as harmless crushes have consequences neither can foresee.
