Adapted by Naomi Wallace from William Wharton's novel, Birdy concerns the friendship between two young American men, both before and after their experience in Vietnam. It looks at the dehumanizing process boys are forced to undergo in order to become acceptable "men" in our society.

Kangaroo Court was formed in 2003 with the intention of providing theatre that is passionate, provocative and political.
