Following a knife attack, Zak has become a voluntary in-patient at a psychotherapy clinic somewhere in Birmingham. For twelve months, along with his fellow inmates, he is taking the 'talking cure'.

Can this madness help anyone? How quickly can you be cured? Ah - the impatience of the outpatient.
