Here is a rare opportunity to enjoy the final collaboration of Gilbert and Sullivan. 

It has been updated from an 18th century state within a German confederation to a modern state within the EU.  The absurdities of the original have parallels with the present day.  A contemporary setting enhances the comedy while still respecting Gilbert’s lyrics and style. Musically it ranks among Sullivan’s best, and will provide a tuneful and hilarious evening’s entertainment.
