HOO HOO!  POOP POOP!

Nasty news from the wild wood…

Ello, this is the one and only Chief Weasel, here.

I’ve stolen myself one of those new fangled Blog things…I’m always looking for ways to spread my words of wisdom to the world at large, and on the cheap.

Just so happens I’ve heard that some people are going on a bit of a journey along the river. Weasel Norman has done a bit of digging around (he’s funny like that) and found out their names are Ratty & Moley. I don’t like Moles, they belong in holes! Now Rats are something else, I’ll have to be a bit more sneaky with him. A lovely couple of friends I’m sure, but that won’t stop me from trying to steal their boat, and taking their tasty food (that they’re bound to have with them for their journey). I can’t wait till I get my hands on that pair and have bit of ‘Wild Wooder’s’ fun with them!!

My spies are known as the Wild Wooders (or Chavs) and are everywhere. From the Wild Wooders I’ve got the news that a brand new shiny green motorcar has just been bought by a rich person called Froggy or Toady (I think he might be French), I can’t wait to get my hands on that car and take it for a spin.

I’ve got plans, big plans, that one day, perhaps as soon as the 7th of January 2010, my empire will finally begin to really take shape, in all of it’s truly hideous glory.

Until that time comes I’ll be in rehearsals, practicing my craft-yness), getting some dance moves on, my Wild Wooders dance troop are full of ‘Diversity’ and getting more horrible by the day (just the way I like it.), I might start calling them a ‘Travesty’.

I’ve just nicked myself a new outfit from TK MA-tri-X, it’s all black and shiny (fashion gurus Neo & Trinity would be proud). You might see me on the telly in a program (hosted by a tall skinny guy from the Black Country) called: Got Yam’s ‘How not to look good, but how to fix you up NASTY’.

Stay tuned my ‘orrible darlings.

Chief Weasel.

River Bank News

Hello Wide World,

Ratty here, from Wind In The Willows. How goes it out there in the wide world? Still fighting around to get somewhere I suppose? I believe you’ve already heard from my good friend Moley (between you and me, he’s a half-decent blog writer but he needs to learn some table manners).

Not long until Christmas now. I bought Moley ‘The Idiot’s Guide: How To Row A Boat’ and I’ve got Badger some new slippers (shoe size 28). But I can never decide what to get Toad - he’s so rich he could just buy it himself you see? It would save me some money anyway and I could spend it on a new duster for my house (I do love a good spring clean now and again – don’t laugh).

Not sure what Badger, Moley and Toady have planned for New Year’s Eve, but I know that I shall be sitting in front of my fireside with my feet up and reading a good book. Don’t call me boring, please, I get it from Toady all the time.

The play starts on January 7th 2010 (if Toady remembers to turn up – he could be preambulating around in his latest motor car). Tickets are selling like hotcakes at a Weightwatchers Convention, so you should probably try and book ASAP.

Cheero,
Ratty

More tails from the River Bank

Hello humans.  Mr. Badger here.  You will have to forgive me.  All this cold weather is playing havoc with my fur.  I am not use to being awake during the winter months as I am normally tucked up nice and warm in my set.  I do not normally make an appearance in the world above until March when the weather is looking and feeling warmer.

Luckily I have had the world wide web installed in my set by those lovely workers at BT (Badger Telecom) so I can communicate with all my friends who still ‘ferret’ (no pun intended!) around looking for food.  I know what’s being going on by logging onto River-bank book.com.  My dear friend Ratty and my new friend Mole have been out and about recently.  I really hope that they do not come to my house.  I do not take kindly to visitors at this time of year, although, I am sure I could make an exception for them.

I have plenty of other friends up top some of whom are often a worry.  Toad for example needs taming and I think that I am the animal to it.  If he’s not careful the wild wooder’s will get the better of him and then it will be up to me, Ratty and Mole to sort out the mess.

Anyway, have to go now.  Need to catch up with my beauty sleep before anyone comes……….

…… hang on.  What’s all that noise?  It sounds like my front door.  Who could this be.  I am trying to relax and I have my rollers in!!

The Wind In The Willows

Well Hello!

Moley here!  (to my friends, you included)  Doesn’t time fly in the above ground world of yours. It is quite a while since rehearsals began. Christmas is just around the corner. Then we are into January and the start of the Show… The field mice will be carol singing before long… mind you,t here will be plenty of songs for you to sing-along to when you come to see me and all my friends from January 7th!

Over the next few weeks I am going to ask all my new friends from the River Bank to tell us all about themselves, Ratty, Badger and Toad; as well as Albert the Horse, The Gaolers Daughter, and Otter! Plus many more… Ratty is my very best friend, he was my first friend, Badger and I have a lot in common too, he lives underground, and always says it’s a much better night’s sleep down there!

Tickets for our show are on sale right now and selling fast, it would be a shame if you couldn’t make it to see us so make sure you don’t miss out. For more details check out the website at http://www.crescent-theatre.co.uk/Y2010/wind-in-the-willows.html

Well, I’m off for my nap. Drop by very soon for more from the cast and crew of  The Wind In The Willows.
