Alan Marshall is always a popular director to work for and going to his rehearsals it’s easy to see why. Always engaging, interesting and creative he manages a studio full of actors with ease. As to the show, it looks really good and promises to be one of the more visceral ‘Caesars’ one is likely to see. The Crescent takes a breather from the stage for two weeks but will be back with JC on April 16th in the Ron Barber Studio.

Mary Stuart – production pictures

Mary Stuart Theatre Production Picture

Next up in the Crescent Theatre studio is a new adaptation (by director Andrew Cowie) of Schiller’s classic text, ‘Mary Stuart’. This is my favourite image from the first dress rehearsal but it was only taken because I wanted a full length shot of Elizabeth’s (actress Naomi Gilbert) frock for the costume designer. Lucky.
