We have just launched an appeal to raise £25,000 over the next two years to replace the Main House Stage at The Crescent.   The stage is over 20 years old and after two decades of use it is in need of some major refurbishment.

The Crescent Theatre is a not for profit charity and receives no funding therefore we must raise the money to replace the stage. We are asking for the support of you, our audiences plus local businesses to allow us to carry out this much needed work and ensure we can continue the present the best performances on the best stage. We are also hosting a number of fundraising events at the theatre.

Replacing the stage will also ensure that the many local community theatre organisations who regularly perform at The Crescent can continue to do so for many years to come.

How can you help? It’s easy next time you book a ticket please advise the box office staff you wish to make a donation to the New Stage Appeal or you can donate online when booking. Or send a cheque made payable to The Crescent Theatre Limited to The Crescent Theatre, (New Stage Appeal) 20 Sheepcote Street, Birmingham B16 8AE.

With your support we can ensure that The Crescent will continue to work closely with local communities to bring you the best entertainment accessible for all.

The Crescent receives no external funding so we rely very much on donations of money or time to help meet the cost of running a city-centre theatre.

Give as little or as much as you like. Every pound or hour of time we receive all contributes towards the ongoing survival of The Crescent – Birmingham’s ONLY independent and unfunded producing theatre.

You can donate in a number of ways:

Legacy Giving  by including a legacy in your Will.

Donate with your ticket  by choosing to add a donation when buying online.
