Come and join us!
Did you know that The Crescent Theatre is run by its members? Apart from a small team of paid staff, we are all volunteers who have day jobs, are students, retired from paid work, or “resting”! The one thing we all have in common is a passion for theatre.
If you enjoy coming to The Crescent to see drama, shows, musicals, comedy, then why not get more involved? Your commitment could be from as little as once a month helping “front of house” as a steward or behind the bar, to three or four times a week rehearsing a play or helping with one or other of the myriad aspects of putting on a production from “props” to publicity.
To find out more, visit the Membership page.
Are you free during the day?
The Crescent also needs volunteers to help during the day. More and more companies are using the theatre for conferences and meetings so, if you have time on your hands and would like to help, go to the Membership page to find out more!
Crescent Blogs
Find out more of the background to our own productions by reading the blog pages maintained by the directors and casts during the run up to and during the production. You can either go to the main Blogs page or follow links from individual production pages. Look for the
