The Internet Domain 'crescent-theatre.co.uk' is registered to The Crescent Theatre Limited.

The Domain 'crescent-theatre.com' is also registered to The Crescent Theatre Limited but it is only used to redirect traffic to crescent-theatre.co.uk.

If you complete one of the forms on the site, we will use your details only to provide any services requested by you or inform you of forthcoming events.

We do not pass any of this information on to third parties unless you specifically ask us to.

Ticket Purchases

This is conducted through a partner organisation - Spektrix Ltd - who manage all ticketing processes, including credit/debit card transactions. Their privacy statement states:

"Spektrix Ltd is committed to preserving the privacy of all visitors to www.spektrix.com. All data is collected and processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act. Data submitted through the online forms will be incorporated into the Spektrix database and used for future marketing purposes."

Cookies

The Crescent Theatre website uses Google Analytics to monitor website traffic. This will place cookies called "_utma" and "_utmz" in the cookies folder of your computer, unless you disable all cookies. These cookies are used to identify whether or not you are a returning visitor and do not pass any personal information to us. Update 26 May 2011: Under new legislation we may need to ask visitors to give their consent to allow us to use these cookies. We are considering the options and taking advice on this matter as the law is not entirely clear yet. If you do not want us to store these cookies on your computer you can change the security settings in your web browser to prevent this happening.

In addition to Google Analtyics mentioned above, our webserver automatically logs all accesses to the site, which may include IP addresses. This information is used only for statistical purposes.
