The What's On page shows what is happening, day by day, in the Crescent Theatre over the next few months.  More detail is shown in the individual production pages, which are linked from the What's On entries.

Productions are also listed in future and past categories.

Future productions includes those on stage now.  These details will be moved to the Past Productions list when the show closes.  We hold details of productions going back to 2000.

How to Book Tickets

On-line: On each production page there is a Book-tickets link where you can select a performance from a drop-down list and add tickets to a 'Basket' of items. When you have selected all the tickets you require you can proceed to a checkout to pay for them. In order to use this facility you will need to set up an account with an e-mail address and password.

All credit and debit card information is processed by our partner organisation - Spektrix - who manage all our ticketing on their fully secured server.

By Post: Please enclose a cheque (made payable to The Crescent Theatre Limited) or credit card details together with a SAE or add 50p to the total to cover postage - note Booking Charges below.

TERMS & CONDITIONS - BOOKING CHARGES

All Crescent Theatre & Agency ticket transactions incur a charge equal to 5% of the ticket value. This applies to all in-person, online and telephone bookings using cash, cheque or credit/debit card.

The Crescent Theatre is an independent registered charity (No. 245054) operating not-for-profit. It does not receive revenue funding from any public source.

The transaction charge pays for commissions charged by credit card companies and banks and any balance is retained by the Crescent Theatre as a contribution to the costs of operating the Spektrix ticket sales service.

For in-person or telephone purchases the charge is capped at 5% of the nine lowest-priced tickets bought in a single transaction. However this cap can only be applied to these transactions and does not apply to online purchases where the charge will be 5% on all tickets purchased.

The Crescent Theatre Box Office - Full Conditions of Sale

Tickets may not be exchanged nor money refunded. The Management reserves the right, in combination with any other statements or directives which may be displayed on the premises, to:

a)    refuse admission of the ticket holder to the premises

b)    refuse entry of and use on the premises of any camera or any form of audio or visual recording equipment

c)    request the ticket holder to leave the premises and to take any appropriate measure to enforce such a request

d)    delay entry of latecomers until a suitable break or interval in the performance/ event

e)    make any change whatsoever in the performance/event owing to any unforeseen or unavoidable cause

f)    cancel or abandon the performance/event for reasons beyond its control without notice and without being liable to pay any person any compensation or damage whatsoever other than, at the management's discretion, a possible percentage or  maximum refund to the ticket holder of the value of the ticket.

Ron Barber Studio Theatre:
Weekday & Saturday Performances - All Seats £10.00 (No concessions)
Sunday Matinees - All Seats £5.00 (unless specifically stated otherwise)

Concessions: These are available to Children, Senior Citizens, Students, and the Unwaged. If you have a disability and you require a companion when attending a performance, both your seat and that of your companion will be half price.

 

 

When there is no performance the Box Office will close at 7pm.

Sunday Performances: Box Office opens one hour prior to the performance to personal callers.
Bank Holidays on performance days only: 12 noon - 8.00pm.

Reservations: Tickets will only be held for 7 days. Reservations cannot be made for performances scheduled within 7 days.

All unpaid reservations will be released for re-sale one hour before the performance.

Ticket Exchange: Tickets received at least 24 hours in advance may be exchanged for seats at another performance of the same production. There is a charge of £1 per ticket exchanged.

Ticket Resale: The Crescent Theatre will endeavour to resell your tickets if necessary. However, we cannot guarantee this service and tickets will only be resold once no other is available for that performance. There is a charge of £1 per ticket.

Groups: Please call the Box Office for details of group rates.

Dine & Play: Enjoy a meal at the CITY CAFé restaurant, bar and terrace (at the City Inn Hotel adjacent to the theatre) and a show at the Crescent Theatre. Just add the price of your meal to your theatre ticket.
CITY CAFé two courses £10.95 (pre-show only from 6pm) from set menu.

Children: We regret that children under 18 months will not be admitted to shows other than Children/Pantomime shows. They must have a ticket whether they sit on the parents/guardians lap or not. We ask that you respect the enjoyment of other patrons and in the event of restlessness we request that you take the child from the auditorium.

Latecomers: Latecomers cannot be guaranteed immediate entry to the auditoria, but every effort will be made to seat them as soon as there is a suitable break in the performance. No-one can be admitted to the auditoria without a valid ticket.

Parking

Car Parking: When attending a performance at the Crescent Theatre obtain ticket from Car Park and get it stamped in the theatre – Parking £4.50 for up to 6 hours. Tickets no longer obtainable from the Crescent Theatre. Car Park prices correct at the time of going to press. Be aware that on-street parking restrictions have now been extended to 7.30pm.

Coach Parking: Parties can be dropped off at the Crescent entrance after which coaches must be parked only in approved locations. Birmingham Cirty Council has opened a new Coach park in Brewery Street, Aston, B6 4HT. More details>>
