The Arcadians presents

The Sound of Music

19 - 23 Nov in the Main House at 7.30pm | Sat Matinee: 2.30pm

Anticipated running time: 2 hours
Please note this is an estimated running time and may be subject to change

The Crescent will come alive with The Sound of Music as The Arcadians recreate the classic story of young postulant Maria Rainer who, failing miserably at being a nun, is sent off to become a governess to the seven children in the Von Trapp family. There she introduces the children to music, changing their lives and her own as she finds her true calling.

With countless classic songs by Rodgers and Hammerstein, including ‘Climb Every Mountain’, ‘My Favourite Things’, ‘I Have Confidence’ and ‘The Sound of Music’, and with a talented cast of all ages, this is a show for all the family to enjoy!

Tuesday night will be a ‘relaxed’ family atmosphere suitable for families with small children and patrons with autism or sensory/ learning disabilities, and it will also be signed for the deaf. Contact us for further info.

"It was truly fantastic an amazing team performance! Was really blown away, i think the term amateur production isn't giving this production enough credit! All the songs were amazing, however i liked how even the people with smaller roles were incredible actors/actresses. Really is an amazing team." anon

"A true spectacular started on a high and finished with a bang Thank you all." anon
