A biographical one-man play about the life of film comedian Stan Laurel.
A Humorous and touching look at one of the great cinematic partnerships of the last century

Starring Jeffrey Holland (Spike from the BBC's Hi-De-Hi, the play is set in the bedroom of a sick Oliver Hardy and takes place during Laurel's visit to the dying man, recounting their past success as the comedy double act Laurel and Hardy.

Stan Laurel was born Arthur Stanley Jefferson in Ulverston, Lancashire in 1890 to theatrical parents who were not keen for him to follow them into a career treading the boards. Stan, however, had other plans and aged only sixteen, made his theatrical debut at the Panoptican Music Hall in Glasgow. After a few years learning the trade, he embarked with the Fred Karno Troupe to the USA where he stayed to pursue a career in the movies. He eventually bumped into a young Oliver Hardy and a bond was formed that was to last over a quarter of a century. Laurel and Hardy soon became known as the finest comedy double act of their generation and are still loved the world over to this day!
