Set amongst Dublin’s Quaker community in 1850, The Sugar Wife offers an engrossing examination of sexual politics and political morality. Hannah Tewkley is torn between her work with the city’s poor and her husband’s prospering business. A well-intentioned visit from an English philanthropist and a freed slave, both scarred by the horrors of America's Deep South, challenges the Tewkleys to maintain their lofty ideals.

This performance contains themes of an adult nature, partial nudity, strong language, smoking and strobe effects. Not suitable for under 14.
