Great Expectations follows Pip from his encounter as a child with an escaped convict in a fog shrouded graveyard to manhood, a journey that takes him from the blacksmith’s shop of loyal Joe Gargery through loss, love, high hopes, manipulation and self knowledge, to the sophistication, wealth and hypocrisy of Victorian London.


Rich in incident and teeming with wonderful characters.
