The Crescent Youth Theatre
The Crescent Youth Theatre Company is for young people between the ages of 11 to 18, that have a passion for theatre arts. It is for young actors to develop the skills in performance, learn new techniques and work with other young people that have a passion for acting. The season is made of of both workshops and production projects, encouraging the young actors to explore acting techniques through performance but also explore new techniques such as voice skills, physical theatre, devising and approaching scripts, just to name a few. The CYT is lucky to be based with The Crescent where they can work (and learn) alongside the different departments of a working theatre. The company is going from strength to strength so watch this space for more news on our plans for the 2013/14 season.
