Taking Up Space written and directed by Lucy Niemczyk is an intimate piece of new writing exploring themes of sexuality, queer privilege, cultural expectation, and loneliness. This story is influenced by real life experiences and is written, directed, and performed by women from the queer community. Laugh, cry and dance along with Jasreena, Saffy and Gia; three queer young women who may be close, but their worlds couldn't be further apart. Follow them as they navigate love, friendship, and sex. Can these young women step into their power, or will they be shrunk by secrecy and expectation?
