This intriguing play revolves around Andre, an elderly man with dementia, and his daughter Anne who is struggling to maintain a life of her own as she cares for her father during his painful degeneration.
Reality itself is questioned as events are unfolded through Andre's eyes. With insight and ingenuity, Zeller shares with us Andre's futile efforts to make sense of a bewildering and ever-changing world, a world of dislocation and contradiction.
Echoes of ‘King Lear’ abound in this darkly honest and disturbing, yet very poignant, drama.
