Young Actors from First Act Workshops in Birmingham are to showcase their on-screen talents in an event on Saturday 12th July at Birmingham's The Crescent Theatre, all in aid of Kerrang! Radio's Cash for Kids and Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Ross Simpson of First Act Workshops said "The workshopper’s have been working for two terms, developing their own short films. Finally they and we will get to see their hard work on a big screen – and, at the same time, we will be raising funds for sick and disadvantaged children in our own communities.
It is with great thanks to The Crescent Theatre that we are able to fundraise for these amazing charities at this event."

First Act Workshops is a drama training ground and TV/Film casting centre for young, talented actors in the West Midlands.
