How to find us – during the Metro Line road works

As works during the Metro line continue, traffic changes within the city centre will have an impact upon your journey to Brindleyplace and the Crescent Theatre – we are still easily accessible but it’s best to give more time and plan your journey.

By Car

The partial closure of Board Street throughout 2019/20 will mean Sheepcote Street cannot be accessed via this route. Access to Sheepcote Street and the Brindleyplace car park (situated next door to the Crescent Theatre) will still be maintained throughout the duration of the works.  Access to the Crescent Theatre and the Brindleyplace car park will be via Grosvenor Street West where you can turn right and then left at the small roundabout into Brindleyplace. Please note only coaches, buses and taxis can drive up Sheepcote Street towards Broad Street.   Alternatively you can follow the diversion signs from the ring road which will bring you to Brindleyplace.

By Bus

The Crescent Theatre is served by an excellent range of bus services which stop either outside or across the road on Grosvenor Street West they include, routes 9, 23 126 X8  X10 and 12.   For full bus timetables and detailed routes please visit Network West Midlands.

By Train

The Crescent Theatre is easily accessible and only a short walk from all three of Birmingham’s Main Train Stations. Follow the signs for the ICC and Brindleyplace.
