'I was born in the wrong damn body. Look at me. A gigolo trapped in a haystack. The tragedy of my life Norman Dewers – gigolo and assistant librarian.’

Table Manners details the amorous exploits of Norman, assistant librarian, who believes that his mission in life is to make women happy by showering them with love – these women being, as it happens, three sisters, one of whom is his wife.

With his inimitable wit and compassion, Ayckbourn reveals the frustration and disappointment which bubble beneath the surface of a family’s relationships, and brings to light their thoughts on sex, marriage, love and loneliness. Table Manners is wise, observant and extremely funny.

Following Friday's performance there will be an After Dark session which is an opportunity to meet members of the cast and creative team to discuss the production.
