"Who said smashing things up was a bad idea?"

A powerful and invigorating new play from Olivier Award-winner Stef Smith. Three strangers are about to face their demons head on. Balanced precariously on the tipping point, they might just be able to save one another if they can only overcome their urge to self-destruct.

Painful yet playful, poignant but uplifting, Swallow takes a long hard look at the extremes of everyday life. Questions of identity, heartbreak and hope are explored with vivid, poetic intensity.

The Crescent is proud to present A Number and Swallow in alternating performances across 'Studio Fortnight', two weeks of simply staged plays in which we bring great modern writing to the foreground. This is stripped back theatre at its most powerful and provocative.

On Saturdays the 26th Feb and 5th March you can see both shows in a day for the special price of £20.

Following Friday's performance there will be an After Dark session which is an opportunity to meet members of the cast and creative team to discuss the production.
