Update : 6th April 2020 14:30

The Coronavirus pandemic continues to affect us all and we really appreciate all the support given to us in this difficult time. We initially suspended all performances up until 30th April however we have now extended this until until 16th May. Some performances beyond this date have also been affected by knock-on effects of the countrywide closures, please check the What’s On page for current status. We are operating with a reduced team so we ask all ticket holders to avoid contacting the theatre directly and we will be in touch with those affected as soon as possible.

Update : 23rd March 2020 11:10

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak our phone lines are not being monitored. All ticket holders for performances during April will be contacted in due course. If you need to get in touch please email boxoffice@crescent-theatre.co.uk.

Update : 20th March 2020 12:00

Following the recommendation from the UK government on March 16, we have taken the difficult decision to suspend all performances at the Crescent Theatre until 30th April.

We ask all ticket holders to avoid contacting the theatre directly. The box office team will be in touch with those affected as soon as possible.  As you can appreciate, this is a fast-moving and still developing situation, and we will update the information on our website, Facebook and Twitter feeds as it becomes available.

The health and safety of our staff and visitors is our number one priority and we will continue to follow any recommendations from the relevant authorities and implement all appropriate instructions accordingly.

As a non-funded registered charity, the Crescent Theatre has been delivering high quality entertainment for over 80 years and we rely on the income from our box office and audience donations to survive.  At this time if you feel you are able to support us by making a donation you can do so on our Support Us Page (Raise The Roof) on our website crescent-theatre.co.uk/support-us/

We would like to thank all of our customers for their support and understanding at this difficult time and we look forward to welcoming you to The Crescent Theatre in the future.
